Disney Fairies

The Disney fairies are a group of fairies created by the Disney studios to expand the Tinkerbell franchise and stories.

Through different movies, games and books we find the adventures of the fairies at Fairy Haven/Pixie Hollow, right at the heart of Neverland.

From learning their talents, training and putting them to good use, we find that Tinkerbell, Vidia, Iridessa, Silvermist, Fawn, Prilla, Rosetta, Wisp and others learn valuable lessons for life.

Each one of them has a talent and special skill. And some fairies are not as friendly as they seem, but overall we learn that not everything is like it seems at Pixie Hollow.

Tinkerbell adventures with all these other fairies (also known as the Never Fairies), happen before she gets to meet Peter Pan in the original novel written by J. M Barrie (which Disney adapted later on for the 1953 film).

The Never Fairies leader is Queen Clarion which sometimes is also called Queen Ree. There are also male fairies living at Pixie Hollow, which are known as sparrow men.

While the games and movies are well known, a series of chapter books takes us deeper into what life at Fairy Haven is like and the challenges the fairies face every day.

It is claimed that every time that a newborn baby laughs and this laugh makes its way into Neverland a new Never Fairy is born.

Most of the fairies live in the Home tree, but Vidia for example is said to live in a sour plum tree nearby. Which one is your favorite fairy?
